Meet Kim! Kim Bugeaud, a St. Albert resident since 1987, is a Social Worker (BSW) with frontline community experience working with children, youth, families, and most recently with seniors in a hospital setting. As the mother of three adult children, she volunteered with the St. Albert Protestant School District for many years, and in fact was elected to serve one term as a Trustee from 1995 - 1998. Kim has a background in the arts and in recreation, including volunteering with St. Albert Minor Football, performing with a children's musical theatre troupe, and is currently sitting on the board of Kompany Family Theatre. Prior to receiving her BSW, Kim completed a BA in Recreation and Leisure Studies, and diplomas in Social Work and Dance from Grant MacEwan. Her experiences also include over 20 years of bookkeeping for small independent businesses. Kim passionately believes that strong vibrant communities will be sustainable and will prosper when citizens are engaged in the decisions that affect their lives and the lives of their families.
